You will need

  • 500 g curd cheese
  • 5 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 5 tablespoons flours
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 tablespoons sugar powder
  • oil for boiling

Instructions

  1. Press the curd cheese through a strainer until smooth texture.

  2. Sift the flour and mix with baking powder and vanilla sugar. Stir in curd mass. Knead the dough. The softer the dough, the tastier the donuts.

  3. With your wet (or poured with some flour) hands make a walnut size batter balls. It is also possible to form them with two spoons greased with fat by transferring the dough from one to another and immediately immersing them in the heated oil.

  4. Place several batter balls into the hot oil and boil for about 5 minutes. Turn them occasionally.

  5. Once the doughnuts are done, take them out and place on a paper towel covered plate so that the excess oil could drain.

  6. Sprinkle lots of powdered sugar before serving.
